Last month, I ventured out to Scandinavia, in a bid to avoid the typical “summer” vacation spots, of SoF, Italy, and Spain. In the two weeks sojourn into Scandivania (longer than I’ve ever taken all at once for a summer vacation) we were fortunate enough to experience 25degree temperatures, and spectacular landscapes which left our jaws dropping at every turn. Places visited include: Lulea, Nordkapp (North Cape), Alta, Narvik, Abisko, Kiruna, Rovaniemi.
Scandinavia is by no means cheap, and camping cabins, were in the range of EUR 40 to EUR 95 per night, with/without WC/shower.
